JC!Month - Day 1
Welcome to JC!Month. Now, if you haven't been a member at LiveJournal you're probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about. And if you are a member at LJ you're probably thinking "wait, isn't JC!Month in June?". *lol*
Way back when, Nsync and BSB fans at LJ got together and assigned each of the guys one month of the year in which fans would celebrate them with PicSpams, fiction, graphics, etc. And yes, JC got June which, never made sense to any of us. Plus, it's a suck-ass month! Final exams are being studied for, gardens are being planted, the first weekend getaways and vacations are being had... no one's around!
So this year we decided to hell with it, we're moving JC to August (which, really, makes more sense, yes?). And this year we're going to celebrate here at the site as well! Every day this month we will be posting a new Mood Themed Icon and linking to other media that relates to that 'mood'.

I thought I'd start the month off on a fun note: in 1997 the Nsync boys did an interview with Planet Pop in the UK on the top of a double decker bus, and for some reason through the whole interview JC was chowing down on a basket of fish and chips! [VIDEO]
Article : new American Idol judges
The future of "American Idol" was already up in the air with Simon Cowell's exit from the show before Ellen DeGeneres announced she wasn't coming back and rumors started circulating that Kara DioGuardi was also leaving the confines of the judges' table. In the past few months, we've spent a number of posts trying to figure out who would be the new version of Simon Cowell. But we realized that the search the producers of the show should be conducting is one for the new Paula Abdul.
Since her exit, the efforts of DeGeneres and DioGuardi have driven home the fact that the show really missed Abdul's approach to the show, which was equal parts poetic, positive, wacky, insightful and completely unhinged. And not only did Abdul give something to "Idol," but "Idol" also gave a lot to Abdul, resurrecting the former chart-topper's career and making her a player in both the worlds of television and music.
That's why there are a handful of artists who should be clamoring to grab a chair behind the judges' table on "American Idol." The rumored deal with Jennifer Lopez is interesting, but here are the 10 we think would do even better.

JC Chasez
Sure, the former *NSYNC member (who put out one of the most underrated solo albums of the boy band era) spends a lot of his time as a judge on "America's Best Dance Crew" (which also happens to be produced by none other than Randy Jackson), but there's no reason why he couldn't pull double time, as he is a key reason why "ABDC" is such a hit. He's cutting, insightful and gets to the point in ways that most people can't. [...]

JC mention in Julian Shah-Tayler interview
When you were growing up, was there ever that kid in your class that was good at everything? Good at school, good at sports, good with the other kids, and good looking? Well, if that kid grew up to be a musician, he’d probably be like Julian Shah-Tayler who switches from songwriter to producer to performer to DJ with the greatest of ease, talent unwavering.
Already Julian has worked directly with Joaquin Phoenix, JC Chasez, and Violet Flames to name a few.

What inspired the lyrics to the song “Wetter”?
Ha ha. Strangely I wrote the backing track for JC Chasez (*NSYNC) because I was working with him on some other projects. When I thought of the “naughty” lyric, it just stuck, and I decided to finish the song myself. I read a lot about Prince in my youth, as I was a huge fan. I think that using provocative lyrics does not necessarily denote a lack of subtlety across the board with the rest of the oeuvre. It was only ever intended to be a fun song, and it has certainly proved itself a favourite with my live audiences and radio stations. [source]
New Demo - Don't Stop
How does the idea of JC Chasez singing something by the creator of Jennifer Paige and Nick Carter's charming duet "Beautiful Lie" from last year sound to you? Like not such a bad idea, right?
"Don't Stop" is pure fun, an up-tempo romp without any real dark undertones (or any of the dirty funk of JC's own earlier work). Carl Falk posted "Don't Stop" to his MySpace, so the safest bet is that he and JC wrote it together with the intention of selling it to another artist--it's just a demo, but it comes with the pleasant perk of being sung by JC.
