NSYNC's JC Chasez saves baby from falling umbrella at Fontainebleu
Former N’Sync boy-bander JC Chasez was a hero saving a baby in Miami Beach on New Year’s Day. A helicopter flew so close to the beach in front of the Fontainebleu that the umbrellas in the sand flew up from the force of the rotors. One parasol began hurtling toward a stroller carrying a 1-year-old baby girl. Chasez sprung into action and grabbed the umbrella before it fell onto the child. Hotel security confirmed the incident, and sources say Chasez was “sweet and humble” about his heroics. The night earlier, Chasez had partied at a Fontainebleau private bash hosted by “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford.

Those in the line of fire included little Shirel, her mother, Netali Nissim, and their family.
"Shirel is safe because of him," Nissim, an Italian jeweler, told PEOPLE through her rep. "I want to tell him thank you from the bottom of my heart. If it had not been for him, my daughter could have been seriously hurt." [source]

I'm really not surprised because this is the kind of man that JC is.
P.S Didn't the mother see the umbrella??
anyhow, how do we even know this is his "gf" per-say where did they get the name and source ?
If the girlfriend made it up I'm sure she'd get her own name right.
just throwing that out there.
