Omarion: JC & I will settle our fights on the 'ABDC' stage
Omarion: JC & I will settle our fights on the 'ABDC' stage
PW: Do you think the dance background you have makes your opinion matter more in the contestants eyes?
Omarion: Yeah, I think so. My opinion comes from a different standpoint than JC [Chasez] or Lil Mama because I'm a performer. I have to know what people want to see because that's intertwined in all the things I do. I feel like my addition is a very exciting one since Lil Mama, JC and I aren't going to agree all the time. That's a good thing.
PW: Who do you disagree with more?
Omarion: You gotta see tonight's show. There's not just some of the dopest crews, but also a big disagreement between me and JC ... we get into it.
PW: What do you bring to the table that they don't?
Omarion: I feel like JC is the technical one. He hits a lot of points and makes it very clear to the crews how they can improve. Lil touches upon that too, but she talks a lot about what she'd like to see. With me, my voice is the one that's been in the business for real. I try to take a realistic stance -- kinda like Simon's [Cowell] voice. I'm not excited by much.
PW: Has anything so far impressed you?
Omarion: There are some amazing crews -- but one in particular tonight has a specialty that involves timing, where if one thing is off, the whole routine is killed. They are just genius at what they do. This season is going to be off the chain.
PW: What do you think about a JC/Lil Mama/Omarion dance battle? Who'd win?
Omarion: Oh, they'll tell you I would! [laughs] I think I might actually challenge JC the way we get into it this season. I'll just tell him, "let's take it to the stage!"
