Ten albums to rule 2007
May 14 2007 - DirtyPop
We are nearly half way through the year and have had some monster releases on the album front. But as we all now the best is yet to come, with the festive period always getting the best releases. We will have some of the best and worst albums of the year released in this period. What are they going to be, I hear you ask? Well Dirtypop is here to give you a quick run down of what 10 albums you will need to own before the clock strikes at midnight on the 31 of December and brings 2007 to a close.
JC Chasez
This could be the shock album of the year. I would liken it to Nelly Furtado's Loose of last year. JC Chasez didn't do too well with his last outing Schizophrenic but for those few that gave it a try would have been surprised by the 80's inspired sex ridden rump-a-thon. This album promises to ooze the sex but be a more focused affair. JC will bring his own brand of IPM out in the summer; expect input in the album from Timberlake and Timberland, Akon and Nellee Hooper. If the right single is chosen I think this album will be massive and will finally move him out of his formers band mates’ shadow.
