cn8: I read somewhere how this album really kicked your butt.

jb: yeah well, I had gone to LA to write for some other people, for JC Chasez and Nick Lachey. And I turned up writing songs I wanted on my album too. So, sorta had to inhabit a different persona to put them on my record and sorta get a little more rock, Freddy Mercury, a little more... I don't know, fast. And it was really fun.

cn8: And the two guys you just mentioned, JC and Nick Lachey, they perform with you on this.

jb: yeah, JC sings background vocals on two songs. It was a dream to work with both of them. They are super super men.

cn8: You have our female viewers squirming.

jb: I know! Nothing dirt, nothing. Just awesome awesome guys. Both of them are really talented, really sweet, so much fun to work with, great work ethic and you know, I love the songs that we got. JC's putting one on his record, called Beautiful Girl that I also put on mine.

cn8: And Nick covered one of yours.

jb: Nick covered one called I Told You So. So, I'm batting a thousand!
