JoJo: Dude, it sounds like freakin’ club over there! You’re at Marissa’s house?

Fat Daniel: I’m serious, the man has just arrived.

JoJo: Let me talk to JC Chasez, dude.

JC: Yo.

JoJo: JC! What’s up, dude?

JC: What’re you doin’?

JoJo: I wish I were there, ’cause I - I wish I could’ve seen the reaction on her face when you first walked into the door. How’d she, what’d she do?

JC: Uh, she was sweet, man. Everybody’s real nice. She has like a nice dress and everything, man. She got dressed up for me.

JoJo: No kidding!

JC: Yeah, yeah, she looks great. She’s already taken me on a lap, you know, da da da da, she got me a drink, you know…

JoJo: What’d she make for dinner?

JoJo: I don’t know, she has like pizza, and I mean, she’s got all kinds of stuff up in here. [To someone beside him] I can’t say that on the air, can I? No. [Laughter] So it’s good, man.

JoJo: I guess the next thing is the listening party, right? ‘Cause the single doesn’t come out for, like, another month?

JC: Yeah, you know what, I actually brought the song that I recorded the night that you came to the studio.

JoJo: You brought the song that I recorded just jokin’ around?

JC: Yeeah, man. I brought that song just for fun.

JoJo: Oh, perfect.

[Marissa and her friends have just finished performing their version of “It’s Gonna Be Me” to JC]

JC: These guys, they just full on threw the routine out there. I can’t remember half of those steps and they just did ‘em all!

JoJo: Oh my god, JC, what’s goin’ on over there, dude?

JC: Dude, they just - they full on did, like, a routine from, like, the record.

JoJo: [Laughs]

JC: I was just like - and I haven’t done those steps in years now and I’m like, man, if they ask me to do that right now, I would have to ask them for the choreography!

JoJo: I think it’s almost time for you to, uh, start playin’ some of the new material.

JC: Yeah, that’s what I was thinkin’ about doin’, yeah.

JoJo: I can’t wait to hear what they think about the new album, dude.

JC: We’re gonna play some of the new stuff right now and have some fun, and we’ll catch up with you after they’ve heard a few things, and we’ll get some live opinions.

JoJo: Nice. All right, JC, go do your thing, dude!

JC: All right, buddy.

[JoJo asks Daniel for a recap - what was it like with JC sitting on the floor in the middle of the living room while Marissa and company danced to It’s Gonna Be Me? Daniel says that JC was all into it, and that he’s “one of the coolest dudes ever.”]

[Fat Daniel tells JoJo that JC just played another track from the album after taking a break to sign autographs and take pictures. Marissa tells JoJo, “I’m floating on a cloud right now. I am, like…after he leaves it’s definitely gonna be like coming down from drugs or something.”]

JoJo: You’ve been playin’ the people over there at Marissa’s house your new album. What’d they think so far? What’s the reaction?

JC: So far everybody’s lovin’ it.

JoJo: Hey dude, people are askin’ the details on the album. I know that basically the single’s gonna be released first in roughly a month, that’s when the big push is gonna be, and shortly after that’s when everything’s gonna snowball and kinda get crazy.

JC: Exactly, yeah, yeah. So like, early summer’s gonna get really nuts. But um, yeah, the single will be out in a few weeks and then that’ll kinda like get everybody’s attention, and then after kinda knows what’s goin’ on, we’ll drop the album on ‘em and it’ll be big.

JoJo: Good deal, dude. What’re you doin’ for Easter? Goin’ back home?

JC: I am gonna go see the folks, man. I gotta go see mom and dad, you know.

JoJo: Take a break before it gets crazy, and JC, Happy Easter, man.
