JC Chasez is a D.C. guy at heart.
"I was born in George Washington [University] Hospital and was raised in the city until I was 5 years old," the former 'N Sync singer told us yesterday, adding that his family then moved to Bowie. "Yeah, man. It was a great childhood. This is the area I know. I'm here every Christmas."
The Bowie High School grad was back in his home town yesterday to promote "Until Yesterday," the first single from his as-yet-untitled sophomore solo album. His ex-boy-band mate Justin Timberlake co-produced the single. "He's a talented writer and a talented producer," Chasez, 30, said. "We're still friends."

And speaking of old friends, Chasez says he fully supports former 'N Sync-er Lance Bass, who revealed in July that he is gay. "He's not exactly receiving accolades for his professional life, but he's had to put his personal life out there. As long as that's what makes him happy, then I'm happy for him."
Soooo . . . any chance of an 'N Sync reunion tour? "Uh . . . not at this point, no. That was something in our lives that we did and we did it until it was exhausted in our minds. Some people can be in a band for 15 years and some people can be in a band for two years. We did it for 10. Ten's a good run."
