JC: Fantastico.

JoJo: I've missed you, dude.

JC: Yes indeedy, I've missed you as well, sir. I don't know if that makes us – if that's giving us some weird moments…

JoJo: Hey, uh, when you comin' in?

JC: Uh, you know what, I was actually speaking to Eric about this two days ago because we were in New York. We spoke on my birthday...

JoJo: Mm hm.

JC: And then, like, I've been traveling around. I finally got back in town two days ago. The problem is, I'm leaving town tomorrow.

JoJo: Aw, crap.

JC: But I'm back after next week, and then I'm like, not going anywhere.

JoJo: That's cool. Let's do it then.

JC: Right when I get back, we'll come in and I'll hang out.

JoJo: You guys, once again that's JC Chasez on the phone if you can't tell by his voice. And give me the details, dude. I know you performed at Justin's somethin' somethin' somethin' with your new track, right?

JC: The night of the MTV awards or whatever, um, he had a performance at this place called the Roseland, which was, uh, kind of like a block away from where they were doing the awards. And, um, I just popped in and, uh, we talked about it I guess that day, and he said if you guys can soundcheck and stuff like that, it'd be great for us to kind of do like a surprise for the crowd.

JoJo: This track you – this track you performed, this is the track that's gonna be comin' up on your album, it's your first single, and it's a track that you and Justin...he produced or you guys co-produced? Or...

JC: Well, what happened is we were hanging out, and um, we kinda talked about it. We just got to shootin' the breeze one night and just kinda got to talkin' and sayin' "Man, we need to make some music together," you know? And so our schedules allowed and we ended up in the studio doing a track. The first one was called "God Bless America" and then after that...

JoJo: Which by the way dude – hey, let me stop you there – "God Bless America," I've heard that track and that track is frickin' stellar.

JC: [Laughs] I'm glad, I'm glad you like it.

JoJo: Stellar! Not that that means anything...

JC: Yeah, yeah.

JoJo: ...that your boy JoJo likes it, but, damn! Damn, damn, damn!

JC: Yeah, it's a heater. So, um, we ended up doing that, and we just knew there was chemistry from that point on a new sound, so we ended up getting back in the studio and we came up with this song called "Until Yesterday," which is the first single off the forthcoming album. And, uh, it sounds great, and the fact of the matter is we were in New York at the same time, and he asked me to, you know, to sit in, and he sat there and he played and sang with me while we were up there and it was fun, man. It was good times.

JoJo: Nice. And if people, if people wanna get a listen to these tracks you have comin' out, there's something that's happening on...I wanna say AOL...on Monday, correct?

JC: Yes, it's the First Listen. They're doing an AOL First Listen of the track. So if you weren't at the live show or anything like that – or, uh, I'm sure people have already heard it through downloads or whatever of the live performance, but this'll be the first time people can actually hear the song.

JoJo: When is the album coming out as far as the release date, or do you have a date set?

JC: Um, well, the first single comes out, I think it's supposed to hit radio October 20th and then the album will come at the top of the year.

JoJo: Honestly, man, I expect big things from this one. Because you're one of the dudes that just, like, lives in the studio.

JC: Yeah, man. [Laughs] I grind on it. I like it, it's what I do.

JoJo: Matter of fact, I'm almost shocked when I see you outdoors 'cause I know you're in the studio so much.

JC: [Laughs] You're like, "Wait a minute, something's not right."

JoJo: "JC, get back in your cave!"

JC: Exactly, exactly.

JoJo: [Laughs] Anyway y'all, it's JC Chasez, uh, we'll be seeing him in a couple of weeks. He's good times, good people, he's a good kisser...

JC: Well, I don't...you, uh, that...you're weird. [Laughs]
